음악을 처음 만난 순간, 인생에서 음악이 갖는 의미, 이번에 연주할 곡과 그 곡을 고른 이유, 연습실에서의 작은 일화, 선생님과의 특별한 기억, 가족과 음악, 음악으로 연결된 친구들, 음악을 통해 발견한 자신, 문화적 정체성과 음악, 가장 사랑하는 곡, 꿈꾸는 음악가의 모습, 음악으로 이루고 싶은 구체적인 꿈.
What first brought you to music. What music means in your life. The piece you're performing and why you chose it. A small moment in the practice room. A memory with your teacher. Music and family. Friends you found through music. Who you discovered through music. Your cultural identity and your music. The piece you love most. The musician you dream of becoming. A specific dream you want to reach through music.

피아니스트 서혜경 특별상
피아니스트 서혜경 선생님은 1980년 콩쿠르 우승 직후의 팔 마비, 2006년의 투병 등 여러 차례 연주를 멈춰야 했던 시련을 음악에 대한 사랑으로 이겨내고 무대로 돌아온 1세대 거장입니다. 한 사람의 음악 뒤에 담긴 이야기를 기리는 Story Behind My Music의 정신을 가장 깊이 보여주는 분이기에, 이 프로그램의 최고상에 선생님의 이름을 담았습니다. 이 상은 역경을 이겨낸 이야기에만 주어지는 상이 아닙니다. 피아니스트 서혜경의 '음악에 대한 사랑'을 기리는 상이기에, 어떤 음악과 어떤 이야기든 제약 없이 후보가 됩니다.
Pianist Hai-Kyung Suh is a first-generation master who overcame the trials that repeatedly forced her to stop performing, the arm paralysis following her 1980 competition victory and her illness in 2006, through her enduring love of music, and returned to the stage. Because she most deeply embodies the spirit of Story Behind My Music, her name has been given to this program's highest honor. This award is not reserved only for stories of overcoming hardship. It honors Hai-Kyung Suh's love of music itself, so any story, about any music, is eligible without restriction.

5. 동의 및 서명 · Agreement & Signature
1. 제출한 이야기는 사실에 기반하며 본인이 직접 작성/제작한 것입니다.
The story submitted is truthful and original work by the participant.

2. 제출된 이야기는 심사위원회가 검토하며, 선정 여부는 별도 통보됩니다.
Submissions will be reviewed by the judging panel. Selection results will be communicated separately.

3. 선정된 이야기는 Weill Recital Hall 수상자 음악회 프로그램 수록, 공식 채널 공유, Immutable Creativity: 신곡 시리즈 참고 자료로 활용될 수 있습니다.
Selected stories may be featured at the Winners' Concert at Weill Recital Hall, shared on official channels, or used as inspiration for the Immutable Creativity: New Music Series.

4. 제출된 모든 콘텐츠(글, 영상, 음성, 그림, 사진 등)의 저작권은 참가자에게 있으며, 본 프로그램은 심사·시상·프로그램 홍보 목적으로 해당 콘텐츠를 사용할 수 있는 비독점적 사용권을 갖습니다.
Copyright of all submitted content (essays, videos, audio, drawings, photos, etc.) remains with the participant. The program retains a non-exclusive license to use such content for judging, recognition, and program-related promotional purposes.

5. 참가비 $65 (또는 Venmo/PayPal의 경우 $70)는 환불되지 않습니다.
The $65 entry fee ($70 via Venmo/PayPal) is non-refundable.

6. 연주 입상과 Story Behind My Music의 수상은 완전히 별개입니다.
Performance awards and Story Behind My Music awards are entirely independent.

7. 심사위원회는 응모작의 수와 수준에 따라 일부 또는 전체 부문의 수상자를 선정하지 않을 수 있습니다.
